The Henderson Law Office is a fine small Federal Style building in Salisbury, NC. Built in 1805, it now serves as the information building for the Salisbury Historic District.
My partner and I restored many parts of the building exterior over a period of years. Dilapidated shutters were restored. A replacement Dutch door was built and installed, along with front and rear stairs. Siding and eaves were restored and painted to colors determined by spectroanalysis of small core sections of the existing paint. Rotted window sills were consolidated and filled.The cedar shake roof was replaced over skip sheathing.
